Contact lenses in Vecindario
At Ópticas del Sur we help you find the contact lenses that best suit your eyes and your daily life: daily, monthly or yearly; spherical, toric for astigmatism, multifocal for presbyopia, and coloured. Contact lens trials need no appointment at our shop in Vecindario (Gran Canaria).
Types of contact lenses

Contact lens trials and fitting, no appointment
We keep daily and monthly lenses in stock for trial fittings. We check how they fit you and follow up on how you're getting on. No appointment needed: just come in during our opening hours.
If you don't have a recent prescription, we start with a free eye test.
Stock and delivery times
- Daily and monthly lenses with prescriptions from −6.00 to +1.00 dioptres: in stock.
- Toric, multifocal and other spherical lenses: made to order by the lab, with an estimated delivery time of 7 to 21 days.
Coloured contact lenses
We have a wide range of coloured contact lenses to change your look whenever you like, and they can also be ordered with your prescription.
For children aged 16 and under, Plan VEO can cover contact lenses and a year's supply of solution, up to €100.

Do I need an appointment to try contact lenses?
No. Contact lens trials are done without an appointment, during our opening hours.
Do you have contact lenses for astigmatism?
Yes: toric lenses. We order them to measure from the lab, with an estimated delivery time of 7 to 21 days.
Can I wear contact lenses if I have presbyopia?
Yes: there are multifocal (progressive) contact lenses. We also order them to measure, with an estimated delivery time of 7 to 21 days.
